Cal Rogers CA, BMS (HONS) Director [email protected] Cal joined HWI in November 2005, and was invited to become a director of the firm in December 2006. He was educated at the University of Waikato (graduated in 1996), and started his accounting career at Coopers & Lybrand which later became Vazey Child in Hamilton. In 1999, he ventured on his "big OE" which took him to London. Cal worked for a publicly listed retailing company for six years, specialising in group financial planning. Using his financial planning experience, Cal believes that whilst historical reporting is important, he gets the most enjoyment from looking forward for clients and finding ways to optimise wealth. Cal leads the consulting team at HWI, specialising in business valuations, financial forecasting, cashflow planning, along with business advisory services. Outside work, Cal's interests include rugby (watching not playing these days), and proudly admits he has not missed a single All Black game since 1981. He's also a mad keen golfer and sports a "fairly tidy handicap" and is always up for a round. He is married to Vilma and has three beautiful young children. |
