Christine joined HWI on commencement of the firm in September 1997 as manager and progressed to Associate and then Director in January 2004.

Chris leads the team in relation to international and NZ tax and has experience in business structuring and financial reporting.

Chris’ accounting experience began in New Zealand where she was employed with Touche Ross & Co in Auckland for two and a half years, and a further year spent working as a Corporate Accountant. She has an international perspective and work experience, having spent two and a half years in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea as a senior accountant with KPMG and also having lived and worked in Phuket, Thailand for three and a half years as a Corporate Accountant in the tourist industry.

Chris’ interests are sailing and diving in summer, and skiing in winter joined by visiting NZ wineries all year round to taste their offerings, and to take a few home to cellar.
